Tuition for the three-week guitar course including all materials and supplies is $3300. Tuition for the two-week banjo course is $3000. Tuition for the one-week repair course is $1500, or $1200 when combined with the guitar course. All courses are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration must be accompanied by the signed registration form and a non-refundable $1000 deposit. Personal or cashier's checks should be made out to Vermont Instruments School of Lutherie or VISOL. Credit card payments are also accepted. Call the school for credit card payment information. You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. The balance of the tuition is due 30 days prior to the appointed date. Failure to pay this balance at that time will result in the loss of enrollment, and the student's $1000 deposit will be forfeited. Should a registered student not be able to attend their appointed course, the deposit is transferable to other course dates only if notification is given at least 30 days in advance of the appointed date. Students who do not show up for their reserved date will forfeit their entire tuition; it will not be transferable.
Upon receiving final payment, each student will be issued a username and password that will let you into our forum, where you can begin to familiarize yourself with Vermont Instruments.
Our classes fill up quickly and they are first come first serve, so we offer the web form below to reserve your place in class quickly. This does not guarantee your enrollment! For that, you must print this form and send it and the $1000 deposit within 5 days in accordance with the Terms of Enrollment.
